I'm the Vice Chairman of the Shire Land Rover Club, but I drive and Isuzu  Shocked

I've booked a site day for 30th December at Slab Common near Bordon in Hampshire.

I want to see lots of Isuzus there, we had lots of Pajeros at our meeting on Sunday, so I can assure you'll all be made welcome - well unless you speed, or forget to wear your seatbelt - then the marshalls will shout at you  Twisted Evil

Slab common is where the army test their tank recovery, and its very rarely available, so if you want to have a play over Christmas - now is your chance.

There are plenty of sandy tracks for the novices, and plenty of places for the heroes to have fun.

I'll definately be there in my 'Horn - if it goes to plan I'll have my toy on a trailer, and give that a run out

Its going to be a good day out

Booking form and maps etc are [web:e3812a7b5f]http://www.shirelrc.com/members/calendar/sites/slab.html[/web:e3812a7b5f]

You have to be a SLRC member in advance for insurance purposes, but thats only £10 for a year.

If someone could post it over on the POCUK - and throw the gaunlett down - that'd be great.

Andy

Also will post a link on POCUK

Is there a limit on numbers?

The site is huge, but we will start getting nervous if we get 100 vehicles
It should be okay - we'll sneak you in
Just put veg oil in your tank - its cheaper  Razz

Can you flick me a link to the PCOUK post when its up - I can answer any questions then,

Ta

Don't know about others but all round xmas hols we are otherwise engaged. Between me and Debs we have a huge family so getting everything done and going to see everyone takes up the xmas break pretty much, Then there's the money thing, I wont go there(i'm depressed now Laughing ). Having said that i hope to try and get a couple of local lanes in sometime.
