Hi all, New to the isuzu world and looking for a little help with issue of keys.
My insurance specify an immobiliser to be fitted and I am trying to confirm if my model (late 97 3.2 v6 petrol swb trooper citation) was fitted with one as standard.
I had a new key cut for it and although it would open the door it would not start the trooper. This suggests to me an immobiliser but no sign of a chip in key unless it is molded into it.
Any help welcomed.

Ive never done an isuzu one, but on the old fords etc you had to have the master key to programme a new one.
