...Don't know if you already know of this, but I was just flicking through 4X4 magazine, and found an ad in the back for a firm in Powys, Wales offering 2.8 for 3.0 engine conversion. www.mbs4x4.co.uk
Price of conversion is £4950 + VAT, all engines are new, with 12 month warranty.

Don't know if this is any help to the 3.0 sufferers.
