Noticed a musty smell last weekend in my rodeo 05 plate and on investigation found that the sound proofing under the carpet on both driver and passenger footwells was very wet.
I have left the carpet up on passenger side all week and noticed clear water gathering only on the side closest to the door, this seems to be the case on drivers side also.
Any ideas and help on where this may be coming from.

Thanks Kev

Hi there Kev,
I am posting from Australia. If I were you I would check out the site at this link.I am a member and can remember recently seeing a topic where a heater fan in an Oz version Rodeo died.
Due to dust blocking an outlet and/or water intrusion.
If your issue is not a simple leaking/ruptured heater hose,it may have a similarity to the issue discussed on the Oz forum. You may need to do a search,or even join, but hey safe site, why not.
Also with the weather you guys have been having maybe something frozen and then thawing is causing hte issue.Could be a blockage of the same outlet mentioned in the Oz site, only yours blocked by ice, theirs by dust.
It could also be as simple as leaky windscreen, and I guess your weather conditions could play havoc with glass and sealants too.
Good luck.
