I have had my Bighorn a year now and fancy using that little gear lever for something other than keeping the chinese takeaway bag upright!
Can anyone recomend a Cornish off-road tuition centre? I found one near Redruth but they do not return telephone messages.
Regards

There is lots in Wales and a few on salisbury plains, and there was one company that ran greenlaning trips around Dorset/Devon/Cornwall area I seem to remember. Best thing to do is a search on the net see what turns up. |

Hi, what about darkest Berkshire. We host an event on the first Sunday in the month. June we are at Avon Dassett, July we are at Oxlley Shaw, 20 mins from junction 12 M4. It is a site that is exclusive to us so not over used. We have had working parties/diggers and the like doing stuff to make it interesting plus making it so it is non damaging, so something for everyone. Best of all camping is available so if were to travel up on Saturday, check your passport is valid we will make you welcome, maybe a barbie or such like. Have a look at www.tv4x4.co.uk . I was in Somerset recently and found some fantastic forestry commission tracks that the public are free to use.
Some of them are quite challenging too and I had to hold back a bit because we were on our own with no recovery equipment so needed to NOT get stuck.
I'll have a look at my maps and post the locations sometime next week. _________________ 1994 BIGHORN 3.1TD LOTUS

Can't now remember the actual place but it wasn't far from a place called Exford in Exmoor where we went on a camping holiday.
It was definitely near to here <<CLICK FOR MAP>> (within about 20 miles) so you could check an OS map for managed forests:
Hope this helps. _________________ 1994 BIGHORN 3.1TD LOTUS
