Hi Folks,

I've just received an Email from Chris Mitchell, the GLASS Rep for Derbyshire, which is self explanatory.   Chris is trying to collect together as much user evidence as possible of the vehicular use of a lane called High Rake in Derbyshire.

You can get the two user evidence forms here .........
http://www.moorside.net/highrake/dcc_uef.pdf
http://www.moorside.net/highrake/glass_uef.pdf

Hi Chaps

I've attached 2 forms.  One is the standard GLASS user evidence form which
allows recording of single journeys.  The other is the long winded and
rather bureaucratic Derbyshire County Council user evidence form, which
assumes more regular use.

Ideally, we would like as many users as possible to fill in the DCC form
(which the council know and love), and preferably the GLASS form as well.
We need to make sure the date(s) of usage are recorded as accurately as
possible by as many drivers as possible.  As a minimum, I'd like people to
complete the GLASS form which gives us the minimum data we need.  Both types
of forms MUST be signed in hard copy please, not just scanned and emailed!
Personal details will be treated as confidential, and only used for the
purpose of this highway claim.

For ease of reference, the lane we are talking about is the section between
map refs SK 205 732 and SK 226 736, south west of Calver, known generally as
High Rake.  It runs alongside Deep Rake mine.  It is marked as RUPP on the
OS map, although the adjoining Peak Pasture and Hassop Common routes are
ORPA.

I much appreciate the help with this - PDVUG, GLASS and TRF are hopeful that
this evidence will enable us all to continue to drive the lane legally in
future, despite the Restricted Byway signs which have sprung up along it as
a result of the NERC Act.

If this campaign is successful, there are other RUPPs which we can make a
similar case for.

Cheers
Chris Mitchell
GLASS Derbyshire Rep.

Pleases return forms to:  Green Lane Association Ltd, PO Box 918, Peterborough, PE1 9DX

Cheers
Andrew Kay

Good news though - it's about 5 miles from here, I'll have to have a look I suppose....
