I have never heard that about a trooper!

There was a trooper at cass for breaking if you want the number? Or you going to weld it?

I slapped a bit of instant boil in the bag metal on it, that i begged from work, so we'll have to see. Its only a pin hole and can only be 'splashing' the oil out. I might weld a metal plate over it aswell. didn't want to weld the hole directly, 'cause things are a getting a little thin on top, and i'm likely to blow an even bigger hole in it with the hot stick  Rolling Eyes

Well i have managed to find some time and got the sump off. Yay

Well would you belive it i go and find a 17mm draper expert impact socket in there.  Confused So now i know what has made the hole i can get it all back togeather.

Not really what you expect to find in a sump but i suppose its better then part of the engine

Aint got a clue. only thing i can think is they have had the engine in bits at some stage. but its a big socket too loose.

Maybe done bearings or something, or had pistons out and thats when its fallen in. Anyway it kinda stunned me looking into the sump and seeing a socket jammed in the hole. Looking at it from the out side it looked like something really serious. though now challange is to get rest of sump off trying not to have to take whole engine out.  Razz
