Noticed how loose the bearing felt in the fan belt idler pulley on one of the 2.8s so decided to sort it before it let go. Now got the parts sorted and the info is below. Check just how wobbly yours is next service!

NACHI Bearing 6303-2NSE, this is the original equipment bearing as fitted in the factory. Looked at unknown brand but there was play in it straight from packet so false economy. 174k is a long time to last!
Straightforward pressed in, sealed face bearing. Circlip secured in centre of pulley. The retail price list is £30 but got the price down to £7.75 + vat with local bearing supplier after saying I had seen them on internet for £7 8)

I got an SNR 6303.zz from a local bearing place for £6.50 inc vat Very Happy , and a Belt for the same price Very Happy
And i used the shell of the old one to press the new one in, very easy job to do.
My muscles did grow a bit driving without a belt on though Shocked
