I have recently bought a rodeo 3.otd (sold the old troop) however i am having black smoke issues pouring out of the exhaust on load, if i diconnect the egr it almost disapears however when i reconect and rev it, black smoke and soot bellows out of the egr, is there an easy fix for this one please???? ps 100,000 on the clock |

I think you have answered your own question. Disconnect the EGR. Most people do. |

ok Laird thanks thats all good but did it black smoke from when it was new, i suspect not, so there must be a fix?

Its a faulty egr, either get a new one or blank it off, it will run better without anyway. _________________ |

there is a filter for the egr that blocks up on a vacuum valve that causes issues |
