Hi all,

Got a battery problem on the Rodeo 3litre, battery has been fine but now the Rodeo isnt been used daily and its a bit colder it isnt holding charge.

Checked the alternator is charging as it should and nothing is draining the battery.

Question is - exactly what battery do I need fot the Rodeo, whats the spec.

Cheers

James

To be fair James, your post got me interested because I too had exactly the same problem.
Isuzu Assistance kept sending out engineers to jump start the Isuzu, saying i had an issue with the Alternator. A new battery later (the larger one), and a few tweeks to the pipe that leads into the engine via the air filter and touch wood, never had a problem since.

Just dissapointed that Isuzu couldn't find the fault when I kept taking it to them!

Hope you still have the Isuzu and enjoying it as much I am. All the best

Ordered a bosch battery through work in the end, exceeded the Rodeo requirements and was just under £200, with works discount through the supplier less than £100.

Working a treat now, no matter how cold starts 1st time.
