Hello

I have just ordered a pair of spot lights for the front of my truck on an A Bar, I want to connect the switch tot he full beam supply or switch.

Is this the best way to wire them or does anyone else have any ideas or suggestions.

Also where is the best place to mount the relays fo rthe lights.

Andy

The reason the MK1 Trooper is a PITA is it has a dim dip circuit that means the headlights come on dimly with the side lights and it makes it almost impossible to wire spots in without a lot of farting about.  If the rodeo doesn't have dim dip then it'll be very straightforward, just find the wire thats hot when main beam is on, splice into it to power the relay/switch circuit and bobs your uncle.

That's what I did first.  Then with sidelight position selected, I got the spots on!

The circuit above seems to be fool proof.  Very Happy

I used a straightened out wire coat hanger to slide through the rubber grommet next to the rest of the loom and then taped the wire to it and pulled it through.
